The Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick of Lackawanna County 2023 dinner led by President O’Donnell was a spectacular success and enjoyed by all.The new venue, Mohegan Pennsylvania was more than up to the task providing beautiful and generous rooms and good food and libations. Our unique duel and dueling Toastmasters provided humor for all and kept the program moving right along. The speakers were well received, entertaining and informative. Musicians and bagpipers provided appropriate Irish music throughout the affair. All in all, a wonderful event.

It is sad to report the passing of a great Friendly Son, David J. Harding.
Dave served as a distinguished President of the Friendly Sons in 1988.
He was a fun and easy going fellow well met who made friends everywhere he went. Dave was a loving husband, father and grandfather who laughed easily and was admired by those who knew him for his endless patience and fierce loyalty. He will be missed among the ranks of our brother.
